In the Internal Abuse Reporting System operated by the Hungarian Chamber of Accountants Education Centre Ltd (MKVKOK), it is possible to send anonymous or non-anonymous reports to the reporting employer as the operator of the reporting system.
The data I provide here may be processed by the employer for the purposes of investigating the report and remedying or terminating the conduct that is the subject of the report, and may be transferred to a whistleblower protection lawyer or an external organisation involved in the investigation of the report.
Employers may refrain from investigating whistleblower reports sent without a name and e-mail address.
For the purposes of the processing of personal data provided in the report and the operation of the whistleblowing system, the reporting employer is considered to be the data controller and the MKVKOK is the data processor and acts on the basis of the instructions of the data controller.
The data controller, as the operator of the abuse reporting system, shall inform the whistleblower about the procedural rules and data management within 7 days of receipt of the notification, together with the confirmation of the notification, in accordance with the provisions of Article 22 (1) of Act XXV of 2023 on complaints, notifications of public interest and rules related to the notification of abuse.
